There's so much further in the maze to go.

Every week, a Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA)-styled mission will be run by either mods or players that will take a small group of characters further into the maze. The event is threaded in private, hidden away from the eyes of other players, so that the reveal of what the characters went through and what they saw can be revealed at player discretion once they have been released from the maze. CYOAs can be based off of canons that characters in-game come from, canons not represented in the game, or entirely original adventures that players cook up for the people embarking on the journey. In-game, this will be known as being Spirited Away and characters will not be able to be located during their CYOA as they have been whisked off deeper into the maze.

Key Notes about CYOAs:

✦ CYOAs will OOCly begin on Sundays the same day as new maze launches. Players will be messaged prior to CYOA beginning to confirm their availability and then brought into a groupchat with the CYOA runner to make a gameplan for the CYOA.
✦ CYOAs will ICly occur on the Friday of that same maze week. So for example, if the CYOA were to start on Week 3 Sunday, it would still ICly occur on that Friday, 5 days after the maze start. Timing can be played with to allow for character flexibility.
✦ Higher levels of activity will be expected in CYOAs, primarily to allow CYOA tags to be prioritized over other tags. Timezones, activity levels, and availability will all be taken into consideration when forming CYOA groups! Boomeranging is encouraged during hours where the CYOA group is all available. So please do not feel intimidated - we're happy to work with players unfamiliar with the CYOA system to make them work for you!
✦ It is possible for players to go on more than one CYOA per game, but we will try to prioritize having everyone who signed up go at least once before dipping into the pool again.
✦ Players may also run CYOAs and are encouraged to do so! If you are considering running a CYOA, please fill out the form below.

For Scheduling Purposes, here is a handy dandy reference of the weeks expected in the game:

*A poll will go up in the Discord as we approach these dates regarding player preference on when to end the game! So for now, both dates will be listed as available for CYOAs but realistically only one CYOA will be run on either Week 6 or 7.
